How we choose what to carry
A brand earns floor space here on one criterion above all others: can we get parts for it, quickly, five years after we sold it.
That rules out a great deal of otherwise attractive machinery. A cheap bike with no parts pipeline is not cheap — it is a machine that becomes scrap the first time something breaks, in a town where nobody can improvise a replacement.
Kawasaki
Franchise
Our franchised brand and the reason most people walk through the door. The range covers learner approved road bikes, larger road and sport touring machines, dual sport and adventure models, and competition off road bikes.
Being a franchised dealer means two practical things. We can carry out log book servicing that keeps a factory warranty intact, and we sit inside the manufacturer's parts system rather than sourcing through a wholesaler. For a customer in Kununurra, the first of those saves a two week round trip every service interval.
Covers: Road, dual sport, off road
Log book servicing: Yes, factory accepted
Parts: Direct manufacturer supply
CF Moto
Stocked
Quads and side by sides, sold almost entirely as work machines. Stations, pastoral properties and civil contractors are the buyers, and the specification conversation is about towing, tray capacity, and whether the machine can be kept running a long way from a workshop.
These are the machines where we push hardest on operator protection, helmets and training. Quad incidents are a serious cause of injury on rural properties, and they overwhelmingly happen at low speed on familiar ground.
Covers: Quads, side by sides
Typical buyer: Stations, contractors
V Moto
Stocked
Commuter scooters, including electric models. Broome is flat, compact and hot, which makes a scooter a sensible choice for anybody whose riding never leaves town.
Electric models are worth a conversation rather than an assumption. Charging is straightforward, running costs are low, and the range is ample for a town this size — but they are town machines, and if your trip includes open highway you want something else.
Covers: Scooters, electric scooters
Typical buyer: Town commuters
Thumpstar
Stocked
Junior and pit bikes in small capacities. This is where most riders in Broome started, and it is a category we take seriously because a first bike that cannot be repaired locally stops being ridden within a season.
We hold parts for these rather than treating them as disposable. Buy the safety gear at the same time as the bike — helmet, boots, gloves and chest protector, fitted properly.
Covers: Junior bikes, pit bikes
Parts held: Yes, in stock
Adly
Stocked
Quads and scooters, sitting between the entry level machines and the heavier work equipment. A reasonable option where a full size work quad is more machine and more money than the job requires.
Covers: Quads, scooters
Giantco
Stocked
Small capacity commuter scooters at the affordable end of the floor. Straightforward machines for straightforward use, and we keep the service items for them on the shelf.
Covers: Scooters
Znen
Stocked
Small capacity scooters, again aimed at town use. Popular with people who want cheap, simple transport and are not pretending it is anything else.
Covers: Scooters
Loncin
Stocked
Utility engines and small capacity machines. Relevant to properties as much as to riders — a great deal of equipment out on stations runs a general purpose engine of this type, and being able to service and part it locally saves considerable trouble.

Brands we service but do not sell
We are the only motorcycle workshop for a considerable distance, so a good portion of the work that comes through is on machines we have never stocked. That includes the other Japanese marques, European bikes belonging to travellers, and whatever has ended up on a station over the last twenty years.
If we cannot do it, we will say so. There are jobs that need model specific tooling or manufacturer software we do not have. We would rather tell you that on the phone than pull your bike apart and discover it halfway through.
